Super Space Fortress Macross
This seemingly rare game (I've only heard of three now) is in pretty good shape. It's in a plain red JAMMA cab (anyone know where to get some side art?) has a slightly warped marquee insert, and some small scratches on the glass. Color, game play, switches are all in great shape. The only modification I've made to it so far is the addition of a volume control (the thing is unbelievably loud in a small office).

Super Spacefortress Macross is a top down scroller. What makes this game great, besides being a Macross game, is the transformation of your Veritech / Valkrie. All three modes are available, Battroid, Fighter, and Gerwalk (my personal favorite). Each ship has a different weapon, and a small collection of bombs.

    Weapons:
    • Fighter: Forward firing gun. At max power this gun can cover the entire upper portion of the screen.
    • Battroid: Tracking missles. Great for clearing levels where you are attacked from the rear and sides. Completely covers the screen with smoke trails making it hard to see anything at max power.
    • Gerwalk: Forward firing Beam of death and a slightly fanned out smaller laser. Great ship for head on attacks and running down the side of some of the big ships.
    • Armoured Valkrie: Best ship of all. You get here from a special power up, usually on level 3. Combines the best of all the modes. Forward firing, heavy, missles plus the wide angle lasers of the fighter. Add to that the armour that allows you to take a direct hit without dieing, and you're all set.
    • Uni-Bombs: All purpose bomb carried by every ship. These bombs not only kill everything on the screen, except the bosses, they also remove all enemy fire from the screen. Comes in real handy when you are backed into a corner.

Power Ups:
Mode Changers: The mode changers are small super deformed GU-11 gunpods with either an A, F, B, or G in them. Picking these up increases your power level by one, and switches you to that mode. The exception is A. This immediately raises you to the highest level, and transforms you to Battroid mode. While Armoured you cannot change modes, and every mode power up is worth 5000 points. Once at max power, each mode power up for the mode you are currently in is worth 5000 points. All others still transform you.
Power UpPower Ups: Just a plain old P in a sprite. This will increase you power level by one stage. Once at max power, each is worth 5000 points.
Uni Bomb: This adds one to your bomb supply.
medal
RDF Medals: RDF logos provide points (sometimes lots of points). They start at 100 points and increse to 200, 500, 1000, and add 1000 for each one you pick up till 10,000 points each. There are a lot of points available, but there is one stage where they are a bait to draw you out into the center of the screen for a trap. And, when you die, they reset to 100 points.
Minmay
Minmay: Yes, you can pick up a floating Lynn Minmay out in space. Look for her on levels 2 and 3 on the right side of the space scenes. Pick her up and she's worth 50,000 points.
1 Up: Destroy certain bosses and a small Valkrie will appear on screen. Grab him for an extra plane.
Alien
Tuna: Tuna heads! It's on the ground in level 4, right hand side, looks like a big rock with an eye. Grab this thing for a quick 100,000 points.
